Buxton Opera House

Built in 1903, Buxton Opera House is one of Britain’s leading receiving theatres, presenting around 450 performances each year including dance, concerts, musicals, drama, comedy, pantomime and opera. The theatre is also home to the prestigious Buxton Festival and is the new home of the Big Session Festival.

What’s On – Season brochure December 2018 to April 2019

Buxton Opera House’s quarterly events brochure showcases the forthcoming shows, performances and events taking place at the Theatre. For the December 2018 – April 2019 edition, we produced the design and artwork for their 64 page brochure, as well as their headline shows, Oliver! and Rent.

In this quarterly edition of the Buxton Season brochure, we thoroughly enjoyed utilising the dramatic colours to emphasise the theatrics of the shows on offer. Issue after issue, the brochure is evolving with small tweaks that have developed the overall look.

Big Session Programme A5

We were briefed by Buxton Opera House to design a look and feel for Buxton’s Big Session Music event. We then applied the brand to various supporting marketing materials including a DL guide, posters and social media banners.

3 Days in May

Roll Fold brochure

We worked very closely with Zycomm to create their corporate identity – their company brochure was one of the first pieces produced following their new brand. It was received well, and has been revised and reprinted several times.

Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre

Sindy B asked us to work with her client NBRC to create a sub-brand to work alongside existing NHS branding. This was then applied to a range of literature, ranging from a folder, leaflets, flyers, posters through to pull up banners that were needed for their launch event.

KC Jones Language World Handbook 2018

The Association for Language Learning (ALL) Language World 2018 conference was held on 23rd and 24th March in Leicestershire. KC Jones once again asked us to produce the 2018 handbook and incorporate the new flag logo in the design layout. The conference showcased some materials for everyone involved in languages education.

Mental Health Transport Design

We were asked to design a brand for a Transport Conference to help people with Mental Health problems get from A to B more easily.
Basically the brief was not to include wheel chairs as they of course have nothing to do with mental health.

These are the first three designs we came up with and the one on the top is the final chosen design.

The Coach House

KC Jones now own a training venue in Derby City Centre which they have named The Coach House.
