We designed a series of promotional posters for the Youth Hostel Association (YHA), highlighting live music, fundraising and fun day events at their hostels throughout the country.

YHA have a variety of sub-brands within their corporate identity. This is a twist stand we produced for their Volunteering team to use at events and exhibitions.

This is a another twist stand created for YHA’s Fundraising Team to a completely different style, informing people of the best ways to fundraise and donate.

Volunteering is a large part of what YHA do. This brochure was designed for YHA Volunteers to give them an idea of the type of camps available and what they need to do to apply to become a volunteer.

Working with YHAs Marketing Team, we were asked to design and produce posters for various upcoming events. Again, supporting flyers and social media graphics were also produced to support the events.

For several years, we have worked on the design and production of the Volunteers Handbook for Youth Hostel Association (YHA). Produced to guide volunteers in every aspect of voluteering, ensuring the care they provide to their visitors is of a consistent high standard while ensuring that their visitors are safe, healthy and active during their stay.

We were asked by the Youth Hostel Association (YHA) to put together a double-width banner to encourage their guests to look at cycling as an alternative means of transport.

Working closely with the Youth Hostel Association (YHA), we were asked to design a leaflet to encourage donations to YHA’s Breaks for Kids campaign. Breaks for Kids is a charitable fund that helps children from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in school or community group breaks away from home.

An internal Youth Hostel Association (YHA) newsletter designed to keep volunteers and donors up-to-date with forthcoming events, along with news and views on fundraising events which have already taken place.

Following the success of previous Pulse issues throughout the years, we continued to showcase the wonderful fundraising efforts and results from Nottingham Hospital’s Charity supporters through a series of different vibrant displays and quirky graphics.

Showcasing the Charity’s favourite fundraising efforts from supporters aged 18 and under, this Fundraising Newsletter is a true celebration. There were some courageous efforts, including abseiling, obstacle courses and mini marathons.

To celebrate the launch of the Hopewood Appeal, Nottingham Hospitals Charity asked us to produce this A5 sized, Fundraising guide. Providing details about how to raise money online, and giving tips and tricks about fundraising, this is the ultimate guide for fundraising success.

Square One has worked with NHC on Pulse for a number of years. Pulse keeps the public up-to-date with how donations make a difference to patients’ lives.

Not as formal as usual annual reports, the NHC annual report is designed with in more of a magazine style – a more accessible approach, as it is mainly read by members of the public who are keen to see how their donations have been spent.

In a bid to raise funds, awareness and support for Nottingham’s hospitals, this public-facing newsletter promotes the various fundraising events taking place throughout 2018. We utilised the playful layout to reflect the entertaining events available, great for adults and children alike.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity approached us to help to put together a Newsletter that they could send out to local businesses to engage them with the Charity with the aim of getting involved in the Charity.
It keeps businesses informed with what events are coming up and how they can get involved with sponsorship, it also shows fundraising work already completed by local businesses.

We were tasked with producing two posters to raise awareness about  up and coming events that highlight some of the many ways in which people can raise money for the charity.

We were asked to design something a little different for the Charity – a staff lottery leaflet. All net proceeds from the lottery are donated to Nottingham Hospitals Charity and are used to help improve facilities at Nottingham University Hospitals.
